About Donations...
Church ErLäbt in Cham, Zug, independently manages its own finances, organization, and event schedule.
It considers itself part of the Free Churches of Switzerland, but operates locally as an independent association. All ministries and facilities are funded through voluntary donations from visitors and friends.
No church tax is levied. Giving is purely voluntary and a matter of the heart.
The following biblical principles serve as key reminders to encourage us in both spiritual and material giving, as well as guidelines for a cheerful giver's heart:
- Motivation: Your motivation for giving should be...
- Love: Just as Jesus gave His life for the sins of others, believers should give to others out of love. (2 Corinthians 8:9)
- Equality / Balance: Believers should give so that the needs of all can be met. (2 Cor 8:12–14 / cf. Gal 6:6)
- Blessing: Give so that you receive more from God and can continue to generously bless others. (2 Cor 9:6)
- With Joy: God loves a cheerful giver. (2 Cor 9:7)
- Voluntarily: Give voluntarily, of your own free will, without compulsion. (2 Cor 8:2–3, 8; 9:7 / Phil 4:18)
- Generously: Give generously, even sacrificially, but not so that you yourself become in need. (2 Cor 8:2–3 / Phil 4:17–18)
- Regularly: Give regularly—for example weekly, bi-weekly, monthly... (1 Cor 16:1–2)

Where We Give as a Church
As a church, we also have the mission to share from our financial blessings, to serve, and to support others. For this reason, we hold onto God's promises and assurances (Malachi 3:10), which can be embraced by us as a church as well as by individuals. Furthermore, we are grateful that we have been able to support the following projects financially and through prayer for a long time.

Soup Kitchen in Tel Aviv
Shlomo Nahum operates a soup kitchen in Tel Aviv’s slums and regularly evangelizes on the streets.

Support for Pastoral Training at CFNI
